I really should have sought out a Sacramento chiropractor after I noticed I couldn’t flex my elbow. I could move it to some extent, but not nearly to the point of full motion. The pain was excruciating. I thought it might be tennis elbow since I’d been playing a pretty heavy rotation of racquetball recently with the boss and some of his bosses who came into town for several meetings. The funny thing is that I felt fine until I got up the next morning and couldn’t really move my elbow. That’s when I started to worry.
I went to the doctor and they said it was a muscle sprain and nothing to worry about. I didn’t believe them because I’d never had a muscle sprain that felt like this. It literally felt like it was locked up. At least nothing was broken. But I still needed to get another opinion about this problem and decided to look into a chiropractor. Since I didn’t exactly know what tennis elbow felt like because I’d never had it before, I needed to see someone who has probably seen many cases of the condition. I was also hoping for a quick fix.
I found an excellent chiropractor with a good reputation and they were able to get me in for a visit exceedingly fast. It didn’t take too long for them to confirm that I did indeed have some sort of tennis elbow and that they would need to do some stretching and muscle manipulation to try and get the muscles around that part of my arm to release. I thought it would hurt like the blazes, but it actually went really well. I felt some discomfort at first but then immediate relief when the muscles let go and I could flex again. Needless to say, I’m pretty happy with the treatment I got.
