I come from Abruzzo, Italy one of the (enologico) wine centers of Europe. The wines here, especially the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, are not as well known as those in the Umbria and Tuscany provinces, but are nevertheless, worthy of your attention.

I have a small villa, Casale, near Teramo in Abruzzo. The DOC area of Controguerra is very closeby. My villa sits empty most of the year and I would prefer to have someone in the villa than to have it sit empty. So...if you are interested in a stay in Abruzzo, either by the week or the month, let me know and we can discuss the possibilities. I now live in America and the price for renting the villa is in $ and quite inexpensive.
