Walla Walla Village Winery would like to invite you to a celebration of our latest release …The 2005 “Bordello Red”. Please join us Saturday, September 6th at 7:00pm for an evening of music and dinner paired to compliment this seductive new wine from Walla Walla Village Winery.

The music will be accompanied by a delicious smoked *BBQ Beef Brisket dinner prepared by the Destination Grill in Walla Walla , Saturday September, 6th. Seating and dinner to begin at 7:00pm with the show at 8pm. Destination Grill is located at 416 N. 2nd Avenue just off the Highway 12 City Center exit near downtown.

The 2005 “Bordello Red” is described by the winemaker as a voluptuous and titillating Cabernet Sauvignon blend that will penetrate your palate and leave you lusting for more! The tannins are as bold, yet approachable as the Madame herself.

This 2005 wine is a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc from Aldercreek Vineyards in the Horse Heaven Hills appellation of Washington State.

We have a great evening planned with live music featuring the acoustic sounds of Thacher Carter, Matt Snook and Luke McKern of ‘Synaptic Drift’ from La Grande, Oregon .

Thacher Carter has been playing guitar and singing his original songs as a solo act in the Grande Ronde Valley for several years and recordings of his work are available in regional music stores. He has developed a unique twist on the Piedmont finger-picking guitar style, which complements his blues-flavored original numbers and covers.

Matt Snook has been playing the banjo since he was fifteen years old. Now, several years later, he performs with not only “The Snook Band” on banjo and dobro, but also with “Synaptic Drift” and his local band, “Summit Ridge”, as well as “Grande Rondolin”, La Grande's first-ever mandolin orchestra (on mandocello).

A native of Eastern Oregon , Luke McKern, is true rising star from the Great Pacific Northwest. Luke will mesmerize you with his variety of sounds and smooth versatility on the guitar. Luke is also involved in a number of musical projects including “The Wasteland Kings” and the “Sons of Guns”.

Age 21 and over only, ID’s required. Ticket price includes entry to the show, Smoked Beef Brisket dinner*, one glass of Bordello Red Wine. Additional wines, micro brews or cocktails available for purchase.

Present your ticket stub at the winery tasting room during the event weekend and receive 10% of all purchases and 20% all case purchases.
